Kokam Snack
Kokam is a traditional food / snack that popular from Malang City - East Java - Indonesia, and you can found it at street food or coffee tavern. This food tastes good while still hot, and drink with a cup of coffee or tea in the morning or afternoon. You can make kokam by yourself at home with ingredients that available in food stores and easy to made.

Recipe of KOKAM

Ingredients:
• 300 grams of red beans / mung bean
• 100 grams of brown sugar, boiled
• 200 g flour
• 1 teaspoon cornstarch
• ½ tsp vanilla
• 1 sheet of Pandan leaf 
• Sugar to taste 
• A pinch of salt
• Oil for frying

Preparing :
  1. Boil red beans /mung bean and pandan leaves until beans break up and the water was dry.
  2. Then, while still hot stew mixed with brown sugar, vanilla, salt and cornstarch. Then puree. Add sugar if it is less sweet.
  3. Form the dough with round shape somewhat flattened.
  4. Dip into a thick batter of flour, salt and water.
  5. Sticking the circle that had been smeared with flour such as two-two conjoined twins ball. Then fry until golden.
  6. Lift up and ready to be served.
